Technology behind MAC500 reduces absence due to illness!

A scientific study in Canada has proved the effect of UV-C technology in connection with indoor climate.

The study was based on a company‘s 771 employees and the result of this study was published in ”THE LANCET” Vol. 362 of 29.11.2003.

The results clearly showed a reduction of absence due to illness up to 40 % – and a daily increased productivity of up to 10 %.

KEY FEATURES

MAC500 is a small air purifier that recreates the ultra-violet rays of the sun inside the machine, which further creates ozone out of the atmospheric oxygen in a process known as photo-lytic oxidation. The ozone, which is a natural gas, creates a cold burn that destroys viruses and bacteria upon contact.

The MAC500 creates ozone levels of 0.04 parts per million (PPM), the same as level as a sunny day, to ensure that the air in an indoor environment - be it at home or a clinic's waiting area - is fresh and free of air-borne micro orgranisms. This further covers various surfaces, giving users additional protection.

JIMCO A/S has conducted a test with a recognized, certified, third-party institute in Denmark. We have tested the reduction of ethylene gasses with using the JIMCO air purifier MAC500.

The test concludes that our technology will reduce ethylene gasses substantially. This can be used to extend the life of fruit and vegetables. Ethylene is produced from essentially all parts of higher plants, including leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruits, tubers, and seeds. Ethylene is speeding up the ripening process and, in the end, it will make fruit and vegetable rotten faster.
